The rest of this episode is dedicated to the first-ever Locked On Fantasy Hockey mock draft which the boys perform live on-air with reactions and analysis in real time. This league was a head-to-head format with two centres, two left-wingers, two right-wingers, two goalies and four bench slots.

Flip and Steele go through the entire draft from start to (mostly) finish so that you can see how they would attack this format of NHL fantasy hockey draft. Flip had the ninth slot and Steele the 10th in this 12-team league. Flip stuck to his guns by drafting Tampa Bay Lightning No. 1 goaltending Andrei Vasilevskiy with his first pick, while Steele also stayed true to his roots with his 10th overall selection of Minnesota Wild budding superstar Kirill Kaprizov.
