Our Featured Event was Read Across America on Monday, March 2nd. Students across the District celebrated their love of reading with the help of volunteer readers, including several local celebrity readers such as Hillsboro Mayor Steve Callaway, Barley from the Hillsboro Hops, new Hillsboro Chief of Police Jim Coleman, Hillsboro Fire Chief David Downey and more. Many thanks to these and other volunteer readers, and to the family and community members who are encouraging students to continue their love of reading all year long.
