Description

Making transformations in a group setting is more fun and it helps you feel better, faster! This is part two of personal transformation stories from the women physicians in my group programs and they’re sharing the benefits of group coaching, how to practically set and stick to your goals, and why you really do have to trust the process.   Key Takeaways Pick and choose what’s right for you: live sessions or replays Small changes over time yield huge results Prioritize yourself so you can take care of everyone else, too   Group Programs for Physical and Mental Transformations Group coaching is so much fun! You have such a supportive group of women physicians around you to encourage you to reach your goals faster than if you were going it alone.  But it’s not just physical transformations that happen in my group programs. Mental transformations are a huge part of the journey you’ll go on, especially since we do so much thought work.  Showing up for a group program is also entirely in your hands - you can attend all the live classes or you can watch the replay videos… the most important part is that you’re making regular time for yourself to do this work.   Trust the Process One of the other biggest takeaways from my group program participants is that what we do isn’t a diet. You’re not put on some strict eating plan at all, instead, we work with a Mindful Macros approach to help you develop your own meal plans, listen to your hunger cues, and see which foods treat your body best. The process I teach works, you just need to trust it. Once you trust the process, you’ll be more likely to trust yourself, too - because that’s what this is all about. Teaching you the skills you need to trust yourself in whatever you want to do, no matter what goal you’re setting. You are always worth investing in. Your value is important. You are going to change the parts of your life that you want to change. How do you make sure you’re making progress toward your goals? Let me know in the comments on the episode page.   In This Episode  How working out with other people is more fun and helps you feel better faster [4:45] The importance of scheduling time for your goals in your calendar [11:15] What happens mentally when you realize you don’t have to be on a diet [17:45] Why you have to trust the process [18:45] How you learn more about yourself and your thought patterns when coaching with Ali [26:30] What happens when you believe in your own value [30:00]   Quotes “It was physical changes but it was a lot more mental changes. Once I got the physical stuff down, I started working on those thought distortions and perfectionism. I am really hard on myself, I have high expectations for me. I really had to work on giving myself grace to try to just relax and realize I don’t have to do it all perfectly, I don’t have to solve everyone’s problems and have an answer for everyone that comes into my office.” [5:23] “I don’t have to have all the answers right now. I can still learn and make really intentional choices. When I really work on the thought work, that’s where the magic is. I have the power to transform my life and make it into whatever I want it to be.” [6:21] “Trust the process. It really does work if you do the process and the thought work, you are going to change parts of your life that you want to change.” [18:58] “I got to a place where I truly trusted myself. I not only trusted Ali and this Mindful Macros program, but I trusted myself. I was able to develop my own meal plan and truly listen to my hunger cues, see which foods actually do right by me. The concept of eating whatever you want, that there are no bad foods, was mindblowing to me, it’s a very different mentality. What I was looking for before, I didn’t quite find here, but I found so much more.” [28:21]   Resources Mentioned Join the Limitless 2022-2023 Interest List Find Out More About Limitless Check out the full episode page here Find Life Coaching for Women Physicians Online Fo
