Love your body through all of the phases it will go through. Each phase is temporary, but loving and accepting your body is so necessary. If we spend all of our time hating our bodies and trying to change them, we might miss out on so many moments along the way. The journey is what matters, not the destination. Maybe motherhood, maybe post-partum, maybe weight gain, maybe weight loss, or maybe something entirely different. It’s so important for us to love our bodies throughout all of these phases. Why? Because these phases are temporary. These phases don’t define your entire life, so why would you spend time not loving your body throughout them? I really encourage you to embrace the entire journey you’re on rather than chase an end goal. Because unless you accept yourself at every stage of the journey, you won’t accept yourself once you reach your goal, either.   Love in the Present Moment When we don’t love and accept ourselves where we are, and we spend all our mental and physical focus trying to change ourselves, it takes us out of the present moment. Imagine everything you’re missing out on because you’re only focused on the next goal. When you’re entering a new phase of your body, I encourage you to embrace it. Love your body for taking you here and for seeing you into another phase of your life. Your body has done nothing wrong. Your body is there for you to love and embrace through all its phases. Where are you right now regarding your acceptance of yourself? Are you having a lot of judgement? Are you having a lot of desire for change? If you are, why do you want to change? Or are you having a lot of self-acceptance? Are you embracing the idea that you are a masterpiece and you can choose to be a work in progress?
