Description
If you can identify as a self-proclaimed people pleaser, you are all too familiar with how addictive it can be. The inclination towards people pleasing often takes root in our childhood years, stemming from a primal instinct for survival and the fulfillment of our fundamental needs.
We learned somewhere along our journey that we received love when we pleased other people. This taught us to omit our true needs and desires and instead make decisions we feel other people will be pleased with, that will allow us to feel acceptance.
Join us this week as I sit down with NFL tight end Darren Waller of the New York Giants, as we discuss his addiction to people pleasing that ultimately lead to drug and alcohol addiction.

Spiritual Retreat in Malibu with Jesse Tee (Part 2): Modern-day life never stops. It's go, go, go; it's busy; it's hectic; and it's so easy to lose sight of who you are when you're in the race. But it's worth slowing down and taking stock of your mental and spiritual states. It's worth taking the time to uncover parts of yourself you didn't realize were left behind by your frantic mind. But learning about and loving yourself isn't easy, and it might require the help of a weekend-long spiritual retreat in Malibu, California. On today's episode, I talk to Jesse Todisco, the host of The Jesse Tee Show [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHVlX9V5wzTQCZl1QXEw16w] and the founder of 46 & 2 Wealth Partners, LLC [https://46and2wealthpartners.com/], about his incredible trip to Malibu for a life-changing spiritual retreat.
