LSU football hosted some of the top recruits across the country over the weekend for the Bayou Splash event. It was a star-studded weekend as Brian Kelly and the rest of the recruiting staff hosted some of the class of 2024's finest, including five-star edge rusher Colin Simmons from Texas and four-star QB and LSU commit Colin Hurley from Orlando. It didn't take long for the "BK Takeover" tweets to start rolling out and for recruits to want to pledge their commitment to the Tigers. LSU landed two offensive line commits in as many days after the event, snagging 3-star offensive tackle Ory Williams and flipping 3-star interior offensive lineman Joseph Cryer from division rival Ole Miss.
