Brian Kelly adds yet another household name to the defensive coaching staff by bringing former LSU and Florida cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond back to Baton Rouge. Raymond served as the cornerbacks coach for the Tigers from 2012-2021 and played a pivotal role in the recruitment and development of First Team All-American DBs such as Jamal Adams, Tre'Davious White, Grant Delpit, Eric Reid, Derek Stingley Jr., among many others. Under Raymond LSU earned the moniker of 'DBU', or defensive back university, because of the secondary's play and how many LSU DBs thrived in the NFL. In Raymond's second stint with the Tigers, as he inherits one of the worst pass defenses in college football this past season, can he bring back DBU?
