In this episode of The Thyroid Fixer, my guest, Nagina Abdullah and myself will explore why diets don’t work. Nagina will restate what I always say about protein...it is key for weight loss as it helps our body to build and maintain muscle. Protein is a major source for amino acids which helps to fuel metabolic activity, increase fat burning, preserve lean muscle mass and balances blood sugar levels. Now we know this fact, the people who focus on increasing their protein intake as part of their weight loss efforts tend to experience better results than those who don’t pay attention to their protein consumption.
