Description

Vulvar lichen sclerosus is a chronic condition that causes thin, white patches of skin, usually in the genital area. This condition occurs primarily in girls who haven't started menstruating and in postmenopausal women. Lichen sclerosus is thought to be related to genetics, immune disorders, trauma, or infection. Lichen sclerosus can cause discomfort, itching, and easy bruising or tearing of the skin. Treatment is usually topical corticosteroid ointments or creams used to reduce itching and complications, but as always... we do things that matter and we live differently.Facebook: The Eudaimonia CenterInstagram: theeudaimoniacenterTwitter: eu_daimonismFor more reproductive medicine and women's health information and other valuable resources, make sure to visit our website.Looking for a nutritional advantage?
