Description
As healing has become more popular, some don’t understand the magnitude of pain that comes with it. Healing is a beautiful journey, but it is also a very painful one. Throughout the years, you can hurt yourself more than you know from the actions that you take and the excuses that you make for others who hurt you. But you cannot blame yourself for the things that you didn’t know which would change you. It’s so easy to say to let go of others, and to move on when things don’t work out but for most of us we make excuses and stay places much longer than we would and by the time things are over, we have lost ourselves and who we are seems like a distant memory. As healing takes place, we discover traumas we created in our adulthood, but also we revisit childhood traumas and begin the shadow work within, which requires a lot of forgiveness for ourselves and our past mistakes, and for the things that we didn’t know then, and now we blame ourselves for.
