Description

When people hear the word 'mindfulness', they typically think about sitting quietly and meditating as a way to bring more calm into their lives. While mindfulness definitely brings more calm, of even greater importance are the ways it helps us regulate our emotions so we can be much less reactive to the people we interact with. Just think about all the times you’ve gotten angry, frustrated, or annoyed with someone, be it your boss, child, spouse, or mother-in-law. Mindfulness provides the superpower of being able to stay calm and poised no matter what any of these people say or do. Wouldn't you love to have that superpower? The good news is that you can. The good news is that this is what mindfulness provides.  - Dr. Gazelle About Dr. Gazelle:Gail Gazelle, MD, MCC, a globally recognized leader in physician coaching, is a part-time Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Master Certified Coach for physicians and physician leaders.
