Montreal played well, until they didn't against the Tampa Bay Lightning as the rebuilding club received another harsh remind of what this season is going to be like at times. There were a few bright spots, but overall there are still some worrying signs around the vets on this team, while the kids remain largely impressive. With a western trip coming up this week how can the Habs get themselves into a spot to keep morale high in the locker room?

With the NHL roster freeze looming on December 19th, the chances of Kent Hughes making any sudden trades is unlikely, but there will be plenty of opportunities for the Montreal GM to make calls and set his lines so to speak. While Hughes has stuck by his original asks in previous trades, when it comes to names like Josh Anderson or Joel Edmundson who seem to be on the radar of several teams, should he soften his stance to make a trade happen?
