Inside today's Locked on Canadiens

The Canadiens lost another close game, this time to the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night with Denis Gurianov hitting the scoresheet. Scott has your recap of the game and an update on where the Canadiens sit in the chase for Conor Bedard. He also looks at the pair of games in an upcoming back to back games against Colorado and Pittsburgh, and how it's likely to stress the Habs in a way they haven't been in several weeks.

In the down section it's been a tougher week or so than expected for Denis Gurianov, who despite scoring against the Devils has been struggling to find his form for the Habs. It's also been a quiet score week for Nick Suzuki, who is being tasked to do so much for Martin St-Louis, can he have some pressure taken off his shoulders soon?

On the flipside of things, there may very well be defensive reinforcements coming from the NCAA. While Sean Farrell played a huge role in getting Harvard closer to a Frozen Four birth, Northeastern and Jayden Struble now find themselves staring at the end of their season. Will Struble be joining the Canadiens soon, or will this be a summer decision?
Also on the up list, Alex Belzile and Chris Tierney continue to play and produce way above their expected level, who else in Montreal is keeping the Habs competitive despite the six-game losing streak?
