Forgiveness is beneficial for your life and mindset. It helps you focus intentionally on ‘what could be’ versus ‘what you’ve lacked’. It also sets you free from a person or any events that keep you from moving on with your life so you can tap into your purpose and live in the moment.

Forgiveness gives you freedom from your past; from a person you are forgiving; or from the event that you may be holding on to. It also helps you take ownership of your life; keeps you healthy; and lets you focus on what could be vs what you lack. (01:38)

“Acknowledgment” stage is to acknowledge the hurt that you may have felt from not having to learn about opening up or thriving in a biz or private practice in your graduate school (05:54)

“Bar from revenge” stage is taking ownership rather than passing the blame to a particular institution (06:39)

“Consider” stage is to review and understand why a traditional school doesn’t provide information on running a private practice business (09:27)

“Decide” stage is acceptance, not choosing to pass your hurt or anger to what you consider the offender (11:33)

“Extend” stage is extending compassion to what you consider the offender. Not doing so would lead to a lifetime of unhappiness. (12:55)

Focusing on lack delays you from having a profitable business. Focusing on how you can get the power back to yourself is finding who you need. It could be a therapist, biz coach or an accountability group of positive minded people. (15:59)
