Three positions for the Wisconsin Badgers football team that will exceed expectations this year, we talk about the defensive line, the cornerbacks and the wide receivers.
To start we we talk about the defensive line and why its going to be really good. This is a unit that features a future NFL guy with Keanu Benton. Benton is a stud and a player that has started for three years at Wisconsin. To go with Benton, the rest of the two-deep is a veteran group that will be unmovable against the run. In particular Isiah Mullens who will be a senior coming into this season will be really tough to move off the LOS and will help set up the 3rd and longs that this defense feasts on.
At cornerback, the Badgers very suddenly have four veterans with size manning the two-deep. After a busy off-season that saw three cornerbacks transfer in, we talk about what might be the deepest position on the team. In particular Jay Lewis and Alexander Smith might give the Badgers a duo that is as good as the Nick Nelson / Derrick Tindal group.
Finally on Locked On Badgers we talk about the often maligned wide receiver group at Wisconsin and why this group might shatter those expectations. Chimere Dike is going to emerge as a potential NFL WR this year and the depth behind him is as good as its been in a long time.
