Lets start with Braelon Allen, what kind of sophmore season is in store for the star Wisconsin running back and why he might need a strong second running back to help take some of the load off of him. We discuss Graham Mertz and if he is capable of taking a big jump this season. We also discuss Chimere Dike and why he's certainly the Badgers #1 WR this year.
In the next segment, I talk about the ILB duo of Leo Chenel and Jack Sanborn leaving for the NFL and how the Badgers might replace them. I argue that there is no way for the Badgers to fully replace that dynamic duo, but Jordan Turner will be a star. I talk about the two rivalry games against Minnesota and Iowa -- and why I think the Badgers will beat the Gophers but lose to Iowa.
Finally on Locked On Badgers I talk about the potential strong start for the Badgers with three soft teams to play to begin the season and why Paul Chryst needs to let Graham Mertz throw the ball against bad teams. I also discuss why I wouldn't put a ton of stock in Bobby Engram turning the offense around in year one.
