Description

Do you smell that? No? Just me? Okay. Well I smell the beautiful smell of college football being back and your Texas Longhorns football team being two days away from taking the field against Louisiana Monroe. And then Alabama. And so on and so forth. Things didn't go Steve Sarkisian's way in 2021. He's looking to fix that in 2022, with the help of his three offensive superstars: Quinn Ewers, Bijan Robinson and Xavier Worthy. This team that went 5-7 last year has improved tremendously in terms of talent at all levels. Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Tight End, Running Back and Offensive Line all seem to be improved for the Texas Longhorns with additions like Kelvin Banks and Cole Hutson and the return of players like Jordan Whittington and Roschon Johnson. The defense was ranked in the triple digits last year which is not ideal. However, with additions to personnel between the recruiting class and the transfer portal, and new blood in the coaching room in the form of Gary Patterson, this defense should be much improved. So if the offense has improved and the defense has improved, then the Texas Longhorns should be very much improved as a whole. How many games will an improved Texas Longhorns football team win in 2022? You've come to the right place to find out. Kyle Umlang, the #1 Aggie Hater in the world, joins the show to help me pick who wins each game on the Texas schedule one by one this year. After that we discuss how Kyle Umlang became one of the biggest names in college football twitter, how he wrote two books about Texas A&M, and his favorite Aggie stats. One of the best episodes of Locked on Longhorns thus far. Longhorn nation, let's ride.
