Description

This week’s guest was suggested by many of you. And now after speaking with her, I know why. She is awesome.
Lyndsey Hookway is paediatric nurse, children’s public health nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Holistic Sleep Coach, Ph.D. candidate, and birth trauma recovery practitioner.
She is the author of three books: Holistic Sleep Coaching, Let’s Talk About Your New Family’s Sleep, and her latest book called Still Awake. She is also co-founder of the Holistic Sleep Coaching programme.
This is a really powerful episode about trusting ourselves in all areas of parenting but particularly sleep. We also talk about how hard that can be when we are exhausted or bombarded with conflicting information about how to get more sleep for both ourselves and our children no matter what age they are.
We chat about:

How to stop stressing about sleep

Why there aren't any techniques that work for everyone

The danger of the new sleep industry

The big sleep myths

How to find your instinct even when you are so tired

Her own powerful journey with sleep

What to do if you can’t sleep even though you have the opportunity to

The importance of self-belief

Once you hear it, I think you are going to want to share it with so many of your mum-friends. As always, we continue the conversation over on Instagram, so come and join us there.
