Ryohei Onishi has been an interpreter for 10 years, during which he has worked in various companies and industries. He gave a TEDx talk at TEDxKobe 2019 on the topic of de-verbalization; the process of understanding the meaning and intention hidden behind the words.  He started his career as an interpreter on a cruise ship and years later interpreted for Audrey Tang, Taiwan's Digital Minister.  He is currently a grad school student, a house-husband, and an interpreter.
