Sometimes when we share our goal of an unmedicated birth its met with such negativity, so much so, that moms will keep that info tight lipped to avoid the unsupportive comments. Maybe you have heard them already too? "Oh just wait and see." Or, "you'll change your mind when labor starts." Making you start to doubt your ability to birth, or even pushing the typical interventions trying to make you change your birth plan. Weather this is coming from a mom friend, your mom, a provider or your partner- listen in for some ways to combat these negative comments.
