Simone Farresin is the co-founder of Formafantasma, a research-based design studio that investigates the ecological, historical, political and social forces shaping the discipline of design today. In our conversation, we discuss the studio’s trajectory across over a decade since its inception. We dive into the three aspects of the studio – its research work, commercial projects and work in the field of education, heading up the Geo-Design department at Design Academy Eindhoven.
