Caitlin Cronenberg, 34, is a Toronto-based celebrity photographer and director whose editorial work has appeared on the cover of Vogue, W Magazine, Variety and more. She has photographed Hollywood’s leading actors and actresses and is a fixture on TIFF’s red carpet every year. In 2016 she shot the album cover for Drake's "Views" which became a viral sensation. Caitlin’s most recent book, “The Endings” was released in September 2018; it is a beautiful collection of photographs and stories about love, heartbreak and loss. Actresses Julianne Moore, Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sofia Boutella, Nina Dobrev, Tessa Thompson and more appear in “The Endings”, a collaboration with Art Director Jessica Ennis. In this first episode of The Brand is Female, Caitlin talks about the early days of her career as a photographer, what keeps her motivated, how becoming a mom to her son Wolfy, now 3, has shaped who she is today (including her secret baking skills!) and she tells us about her experience working on “The Endings” — a labour of love that was 7 years in the making.
