Description

Skin to skin is a buzzword when it comes to childbirth.
But it is not just your time with the baby. I mean this is important. But there are some powerful reasons why skin-to-skin with mom should not be interrupted.

Benefits of skin to skin:
→ Calms you both
→ Regulates the baby's temperature, heart rate and respiration
→ Stimulates your hormones which promote bonding
→ Promotes digestion and a successful breastfeeding experience
→ Helps with providing protection against infection (promotes colonization of bacteria from mama onto baby's skin)

Girl, do not allow interruptions that are not emergent in nature. This is your time.
