Description

Welcome back to another episode of the Humans of FinTech. This week, Nadia is thrilled to welcome Simon Sear, Innovation and Transformation Consultant, to the show. Simon is a seasoned Innovation, Change and Transformation leader and joins Nadia today to discuss what actions leaders can take to build truly inclusive, thriving workplaces. Describing his career as "three acts", Simon leads us through his personal journey from a Psychology degree, to leading innovation across large organisations, to today. Simon's vast career has exposed him to the realities of building and leading diverse teams. While a psychology background helped him learn to be empathetic towards others, Simon talks about how being a parent taught him how to encourage others to grow and "shine in the world" under his guidance. The overarching theme of this conversation is The Ego. Simon believes that good leaders put their egos to one side to allow for other ideas to grow. Simon is a true advocate for building diverse, supportive work environments. This episode is full of forward-thinking ideas to encourage everyone – no matter their seniority – to build stronger networks in their workplace.Connect with us on LinkedIn.For all marketing enquiries, email marketing@harringtonstarr.com.
