In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about the good, the bad and the ugly related to peanuts and peanut butter. A peanut is not an actual nut, it is a legume that actually grows in the soil. 
UGLY Features:
1. Shell – soft and can easily absorb things in the soil. 
2. One of the most heavily sprayed crops. 
3. Peanuts are typically not GMO but sometimes rotated with a cotton crop which many times is (GMO).
4. Glyphosate introduction into our environment also demonstrated an increase in peanut allergy and other health problems.
