TINY FEATHER
This is the story of Tiny Feather, a soft, white feather who decided to detach herself from the belly of Jasmine, the goose, and venture into unknown worlds one fine day. Every day had become the same as the last. Tiny Feather grew bored and tired of seeing the same faces in the henhouse and hearing the same old conversations. So, one beautiful day, she gave herself a good shake, detached herself from Jasmine, the goose, and set off, letting herself be carried by the wind.
How beautiful it was to fly! The sun warmed her, making her seem whiter and more pristine than usual. The wind tousled her a bit and carried her away...
During her journey, Tiny Feather met many new friends. Her first friends were sparrows and pigeons who asked her to help keep the eggs warm with the little ones that would soon hatch. When the chicks were born, Tiny Feather held them close to keep them warm, warming them until they could take their first flight. Now Tiny Feather's task was complete, she bid farewell to her feathered friends and let herself be carried away by the wind once again.
Blow here... blow there... one day, our little feathered friend decided to rest a bit on the hat of an old mountaineer. She was a somewhat unusual feather because the feathers on mountaineers' hats are usually black, but Tiny Feather felt so good there that the hat's owner didn't have the heart to send her away...
And so our friend saw beautiful landscapes, green mountains in summer and rich with snow in winter, towering into the blue sky.
One day, however, the old mountaineer decided it was time to hang up his hat and dedicate himself to his new grandchildren, so Tiny Feather took to the sky again...
Fly here and fly there... one evening, Tiny Feather happened to land by chance in a child's pillow, and she realized that from inside there, she could see all the child's dreams. How wonderful! It was like being at the cinema in the front row! Standing there, with a thousand other feathers, she saw things she had never imagined she could see... The mountains were made of marzipan, and the snow was nothing but sugar icing. The flowers were caramelized sugar, and the streams were lemonade. The night never made anyone afraid because the moon watched over the sleeping children, and dawn always brought a shining sun. She stayed on the child's pillow for a long, long time. She felt so good that she wouldn't have left there even for all the gold in the world.
But one morning, Tiny Feather was suddenly awakened. The pillow shook, and Tiny Feather was tossed around like a leaf in the wind. Shake here... shake there... PUFF! Tiny Feather rolled out of the pillow! Mom was cleaning and plucking the pillows!!! Obviously, it was time to fly away again... Tiny Feather was really sad... she felt so good among that child's dreams... She was so sad that she started to cry, wetting all her feathers... The wind was getting stronger, Tiny Feather was all wet from her tears, and she was cold... so cold...
But suddenly, she felt herself being lifted upwards and found herself among other feathers... Hmm... they were feathers she had already seen, they were her friends!!! Yes... they were the feathers that, like her, had been on Jasmine the goose's belly!!! But Tiny Feather didn't quite understand where she had ended up... It felt so good... everything was so beautiful... everything was pristine... Tiny Feather had ended up among the wings of an angel and, with her, all her feathered friends... Tiny Feather was overjoyed to have had the chance to visit so many new
