How to make an origami Hank!

There’s loads to love about the new animated adventure Paws Of Fury: The Legend Of Hank. It’s a super-stylish splash of swordplay and belly laughs, as Hank – a dog with zero combat experience – is enlisted as a samurai to defend the cat town of Kakamucho. But maybe best of all is the stunning origami in the movie, paper-based creations as beautiful as they are fun. Here’s how you can make your very own Hank.

1. Fold a square piece of origami paper (regular A4 won’t do) in from both sides, then fold the paper back out again so that it lies flat on the table.

2. Make sure your paper is laid out in a diamond shape (with the pointy end at the top). Make two creases as shown in the right and left edges.

3. Fold your two edges inwards. Then fold just the tip of the left edge (Hank’s nose) back under and make a crease in the right edge (his tail).
