Chapter One

Sam, we need someone new to work with us, Darren told his stepbrother and fellow business associate.

I know that, but who? Sam muttered, feeling annoyed at his brother. He knew that he meant well, but it was obvious that Darren was the worrywart in their relationship. Sam was more of the gung-ho man, one who didn’t take shit from anyone, but was still a bit nervous under the pressure.

Now that we lost her, we need to find an assistant who won’t be a piece of shit. Preferably a young, hot one, Darren told his brother.

Sam sighed. He wanted to figure this mess out tomorrow, when he wasn’t dealing with the fact that his former assistant stole twenty grand from them and is now being prosecuted. Between this, and his stepbrother’s constant ramblings, he was growing annoyed. Not to mention, extremely sexually frustrated.

It had been a long time since the man got some. Of course, he was busy with work, mostly because the family business did need some attending to. But also, because he was nervous to ask him. He didn’t know if Darren was still into messing around together, or if that was something that should save for the future.

Their relationship was a secret one at best. Nobody knew that the two stepbrothers that ran the Logsdon plant were really low-key seeing one another. Of course, both of these men did enjoy one another, but they wanted to have someone else, a person that they could mess with without the element of regret for it happening.

Their last girl they messed around with was the culprit in this situation. Not only was Sam frustrated with her for that alone, he also felt like he really screwed up big time because he let his emotions get in the way, allowing her to get far too close. However, now that this was happening, he knew that he needed to be on lockdown, and he could put his thoughts to the back burner.

What are we going to do? Darren asked him, pulling the man out of his reverie. He sighed, turning to his stepbrother and trying to figure out what was next.
