Introduction
Welcome to the beautiful methods of the ageless wisdom that have been used by many to achieve the mind-body-soul alignment central to excellent human health, inner peace, and a higher state of consciousness.
The idea that exercise is a miracle drug, enhancing health and promoting wellness and longevity, is not new. In 1500 BC, the Olmec civilization in Mexico played a game in which participants used their hips, bottoms, knees, and elbows to move a heavy rubber ball through a ring as a fitness exercise.
In 1400 BC, the pharaohs’ tombs depicted the kings’ athletic prowess in running, wrestling, and archery competitions through exercises. In 1780, the use of activities in the form of exercise for rehabilitation after surgery and stroke was introduced.
In 1769, William Buchan, a Scottish doctor, was said to have reported that, Of all the causes which conspire to render the life of man short and miserable, none have greater influence than the want of proper exercise.
Do you ever wonder why so many people start deteriorating after retirement? Too often, retirees pass away after the ability to exercise regularly is abruptly taken away from them. Just as exercising the physical body serves as a preventative measure against sickness and disease of all kinds, activities involving the mind, soul, and spirit prevent diseases of the brain, soul, and spirit.
Most outward manifestations of fear, such as anxiety, chronic headaches, constipation, obesity, PTSD, depression, and many other physical symptoms, have roots in our lack of exercise. Exercises involving cognition and development of the mind not only enhance memory and prevent Alzheimer’s, but also shed light on our understanding of the nature of our subconscious being, and the connection between our bodies and body systems.
Daily exercise enhances our dreams, builds our understanding of the soul-mind-body connection, and helps reduce or even eliminates our fear of death and the unknown.
Specific exercises are capable of attuning us to the divine essence that created all, while at the same time strengthening our premonition and monition while alive and dealing with the day-to-day hurdles in our lives.
You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover will be yourself.
