    Dear Diary,

My name is Ugh, I’m a zombie, and I’m starting my second month of middle school. I wouldn’t be here if it hadn’t been for all of the hard work that I put into my elementary school’s summer school program, and some help from my big brother, Roarbert. Oh, I also made a friend named Snow. She’s a skeleton, and she’s pretty cool and really smart.

In my second month of summer school, I had to take a chemistry class that was taught by a witch. Well, I think she was half-witch, half-human, but that’s not really important. It was a pretty advanced class for an elementary school kid, and I didn’t do so well in the class at first. I even needed to sign up for tutoring. One of my best friends, Grunt, a zombie too,
