These poems are dedicated to all intelligent, sensitive, and romantic men and women from all cultures of the world who are looking to read something that makes move the fibers of their intellect as spiritual therapy, helping to heal any broken hearts, some cruel deceptions, and whatever sentimental matter of our challenging life.
I hope that my strange poems help lift the spirit of those who need love, valor, hope and faith on this mysterious planet.
I consider myself an autodidact. I graduated in journalism from the Community College of San Francisco in 1982, with diplomas and merits. I am also an intellectual man with a poetic soul who has been writing poems and other kinds of literature since I was a child.
I was born under the sign of Virgo in Havana, Cuba on September 13, 1947. I have lived in San Francisco, California for 43 years, where I have written almost all the select poems that form this book.
My whole life has been a wonderful adventure full of many exciting moments of passion that could be another book. And thanks to all those different experiences I have had, I have been inspired to create variable emotions for all people born under their astrological signs, each one with the fate or the mission of one who must live.

You laugh so sweetly...

That leaves me ecstatic.

And I feel…

More in love

When I see you laugh.

Your laugh is like living

In a world of illusions.

Your laughter calms my fears,

And it makes me smile.

Laugh at me if you want.

Laugh, with more candor,

That soon I will bite the flower,

What form your beautiful lips...

And you won’t feel any grievance

When it possesses you

Because you will laugh happier

When I kiss your mouth...

And turn off your crazy laugh,

Overshadowing the crimson.

After I looked for

you to love you;

What else can I say?

After we talked the first night,

When you come back here.

Life grabbed me again,

To live it for you.

It was what I wanted most...

When I didn’t have you.

When you had ceased

to belong to me.

My soul had

given you before

All the love I felt.

When I accidentally

met you.

Without receiving

anything in return;

Of this passion so strong

That sentimentally

makes me happy.

Even if I live

only to love you...

Without kissing you,

or hugging you...

Even if I only live...

To love you…

In this house,

Not expecting

anything yet.

I like life more,

Because

I’m full of love

For you every day.

I prefer to live like this,

it’s less sad,

I already tasted

my loneliness

when you left,

And in that adversity

I didn’t stop missing you

Every second of the day.

Tonight under

the Virgo;s moon

we are together

Living again

under the same roof

In separate beds sleeping…

With you here,

I can control my life better...

Although

the control of your helm

for our ship

Of white sails…

Continue drifting.

AT ME AND I DIDN’T GO;

DEATH WAS THERE;

I CONTINUED MY WALK

BETWEEN THE MIST…

I THOUGHT

ABOUT STRANGE LOVES;

IN THE LIES...

IN WHAT MAKES

YOU SUFFER AND CRY;

FOR PROMISED THINGS.

IT IS PLEASANT TO BREATHE,

LAUGH, DREAM...

AND ENJOY LIFE!

I WATCHED MY STEPS…

UNDER THE COLD MOON

THAT IN THE NIGHT

SHE FOLLOWED ME;

AND NOTHING ELSE

HAPPENED...

JUST THAT

STRANGE NIGHTMARE;

WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN…

DEFINITIVE DISAPPEARANCE;

BECAUSE SHE LOOKED AT ME...

AND I DIDN’T SEE HER;

SHE CALLED ME

AND I DID NOT HEAR HER;

SHE WHISTLED AT ME

BECAUSE…

FOR A BEAUTIFUL DEATH.

WITH SADNESS;

DON’T SAY WHAT

YOUR SOUL THINKS;

WHEN LISTENING

TO MY CONFESSION;

WHAT I FEEL IN MY HEART

AND IN MY DESTROYED LIFE;

THAT I CANNOT BE LOVED,

HOW I LOVE YOU.

AND I SEE IN

YOUR REFLECTION,

WHAT YOUR EYES

SAY AND EXPRESS;

THAT YOU FEEL SORRY,

IMMENSE SORRY,

LISTEN TO MY STATEMENT;

FOR NOT FEELING THE PASSION,

HOW I FEEL FOR YOU.

BUT I DO NOT CARE

YOU’RE DENIAL;

JUST BY SEEING AND

HEARING YOU

YOUR CRYSTALLINE WORDS;

I CALM THIS

INFINITE UNFORTUNATE;

OF MY UNRETURNED LOVE;

AND VERY STAYING, BUT

NOT SURRENDERED;

I WILL CONTINUE

TO LOVE YOU MORE…
