Stars and Destiny An Introduction to Astrology for Beginners: Stars and Destiny, #1

About this ebook
Astrology can be considered the Queen Mother of Predictive Arts. Although its teachings have been understood only by the concrete mind and this means that the ego is still limited by the signs of the zodiac, as well as by the bodily faculties governed by these signs, when we find the true meaning of Astrology we find that the Man achieves the wisdom to which he aspires when he can transmute and harmonize the influence of the stars within himself, so that his consciousness can operate through more subtle degrees. The solution to our problems is not in Astrology, but we can rely on it as a map in which we will find answers to many of the unknowns that until now perhaps hindered our vision, of what we must do and what is in our hands to avoid. My invitation to the readers is to delve deeper into this valuable tool of self-knowledge, if that is their interest.

CHAPTER 1
ASTROLOGY AND ESOTERICISM
Astrology can be considered the Queen Mother of Predictive Arts, both for its antiquity and for the depth it encompasses in itself. Each zodiac sign and each planet are related to an Arcanum of the Tarot, to a hexagram of the I Ching, to some line or mount of the hand and so on, including the Hebrew alphabet. Whoever aspires to become an astrologer with a firm base of knowledge should know that he will need to delve deeper into universal mythology, world religions, psychology, astronomy, etc., to then come to the conclusion for himself that everything is closely related and that, whatever path each person takes for self-knowledge, the final destination is to find God within ourselves.
Astrology does not say that the stars necessarily predetermine our lives. They symbolize energy centers that are part of a Higher Whole, of an organism in which the interaction of each of its parts is recorded. In this way, everything we do in an incarnation is archived
at the atomic level, in some sector of the vast Universe and becomes part of our mental inheritance.
By taking on a physical body again, we activate the summary of our experiences from a previous life and which we must take charge of, in order to continue with our process of evolution. The Natal Chart gives us an overview of the person not only in terms of the family and social environment that they will have to experience, but also as an expression of an organic relationship of that being with the Universe, a relationship that is understood as a continuity of experiences that they project over time, seeking to achieve the maturation of an experience that is not interrupted by physical death.
It can be stated that in each Natal Chart the Sun has the possibility of presenting aspects with any of the remaining planets, including the Moon. There is a possibility that it does not aspect any planets or perhaps only one. These are special cases that require in depth analysis in order to study the details of the Natal Chart. In general, it can be said that these are people who have a marked difficulty in integrating their Self into the dynamism that life imposes on them. Such dynamism is ensured by the existence of aspects, since they whether harmonious or inharmonic, create the favorable channels through which the inner consciousness finds the necessary incentive for its expression. This can happen with any of the planets, the effect being more marked when a so-called personal planet is involved. The area in which its impact will be perceived will be in direct relation to the symbology of each case.
There are several ways to approach the occult: from the exoteric, mesoteric and esoteric point of view. With the term exoteric we refer to popular or vulgar esotericism, with mesoteric we speak of the esotericism that we encounter among those of us who are in search of some Truth and, finally, that which is transmitted from Master to student directly. The latter is not written in any book.
In the case of popular esotericism, it is not necessary for the person to have studied something in particular; In fact, he may be an illiterate person who is simply interested in things like prediction, magic, etc. Mesoterism requires patient research, reading books that offer knowledge about any of the predictive arts. For true esotericism, you need a lifetime in some occult school and only receive what you learn from your Masters.
Esotericism has been present in all cultures, from the Aztec priests who interpreted clouds after years of observing them and associating them with terrestrial events, to those who deduce from the interpretation of a dream what is going to happen to another person or to themselves. .
There are various esoteric schools, according to the culture and what the person wants to learn, each with its own title and degrees of knowledge, for example: the Templars, Freemasonry, the Gnostic movement, among others. In ancient times, the Greeks founded the school of Eleusis and those of Orpheus then the Pythagoreans also created theirs. They all have in common transmitting knowledge that was not given to the common people.
Having stated all of the above, I must clarify that in these pages I do not intend to delve into the depths of occultism, but rather to provide a brief introduction to Astrology, where I have gathered elementary information, so that people interested in the subject can become familiar, in a general and simple way that does not include symbols or numerical calculations, with part of what we astrologers study and, if you later feel motivated, you can make the decision
