Bring out your Viking side!
The Vikings thing is just... brutal. They were made of another paste. How else would they be able to survive in such a hostile environment? Surrounded by a cold that froze the blood and cut the skin, in infertile and rugged lands where getting food through cultivation was nothing short of heroism...
But they survived, boy did they. And not only did they manage to overcome the harshness of their environment, but they also managed to expand, conquer and terrorize all those who suffered their unexpected visits. And that they were facing supposedly superior cultures and civilizations.
But, if they were not as evolved as their rivals and had so few resources, how then did they manage to be the masters of the seas and their own destiny? Because they were strong. And not in what refers to his muscles, that too. They were extraordinarily brutal on a mental level. They had no other choice, if they wanted to survive.
Success came undoubtedly through their attitude. They showed that even in the most adverse conditions and in the most unlikely inferiority, they could dominate and achieve what they wanted.
This book analyzes that behavior that, updated and applied today, will also allow you to achieve success despite the complications you may encounter along the way. Bring out your Viking side. It doesn't matter how critical the situation is. Learn and use in this book-notebook the habits of the ancient Vikings to conquer yourself all that you want.
Jump into the sea!
Vikingos navegando - La CosmopolillaIf there is something that characterizes the Vikings, it is that they were expert navigators. They sailed the seas and also did it with a speed never seen before, aboard their drakkars, the only ships capable of navigating the rivers due to their low draft and that allowed them to reach the same beach to make their successful forays into enemy territory.
They managed to orient themselves without the need for compasses, thanks to sunstones that revealed the position of the sun even on cloudy days. They could even orient themselves just by observing the color of the sea. Their maritime knowledge allowed them to spread to distant lands beyond the Baltic Sea and the North Sea.
But let's get back to what interests us. Did the Vikings have a special gift for being so good at sailing the waters? Were your gods the ones who magically gifted you with such outstanding knowledge? No. It was his own desire to reach beyond his territories. They lived in cold, infertile lands, hardly suitable for survival. But instead of resigning themselves, they thought there has to be something better for me.
And they did not hesitate to seek him beyond the waters.
There is something better for you, without a doubt. We all have the possibility to aspire to something better. But we have to believe it. We have to be convinced that if we go to sea, we will eventually find something wonderful.
This is what is commonly called stepping out of the comfort zone.
Why do you put up with a job you hate for so long? Why have you not made any progress in that dream you want to fulfill for so long? What you long for is beyond your close environment, that which you embrace every day and denies you what you really want. If there is something better, it is outside your safe zone, or you would have already found it there.
The Vikings took the concept of getting out of the comfort zone
to the extreme. It was enough for them to climb into one of their drakkars to quench their spirit of exploration. They were looking, even without knowing what. But the important thing is that they were looking. And in the end, they found.
There is something better for you, for each one of us. Only, nowadays, the Viking Sea can be the internet, or a conversation with another person, or take a few minutes to reflect ... There are many resources to improve our lives within our reach, waiting for us to find them.
