Originating from Cleveland, Ohio, Bonnie Pandya embarked on a transformative journey in 1966. When she, along with her family, moved to Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Deepak N. Pandya, her renowned neuroanatomist husband, led the way, accompanied by their son, Jay a Naval Officer and nuclear medicine technologist, and daughters Dina, a web developer at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and Sunita Williams, an astronaut preparing for her third flight to the International Space Station in April, 2024.
