About this ebook
Give an animal your heart and you get it back a thousand times. Animals enrich our lives. A conclusion, a thought-provoking impulse to look around in an animal shelter or maybe even take a little animal from the street; there are so many... perhaps on the way to a long friendship with deep gratitude. Our cat family has grown slowly but surely; all received animals originate exclusively from a shelter or from the street. We just have a big heart...
None of these animals we want to miss. They are a wonderful part of our lives. Although they do not really "talk”, however, they constantly communicate with us; even if we do not always understand ...
Unfortunately, one is repeatedly confronted with moments in which you doubt the humanity. As on the day on which this little black, fluffy tomcat stood outside our front door with a cut-off, bleeding ear ...

The rest of the story Blacky
better tells himself.
Blacky tells:
I was born in one of these cottages close to the beach after my mom had an affair with this thick black tomcat from the grocery store. Shortly thereafter, Mom noticed then that she had kittens in her belly and she felt somewhat queasy. Because she did not know how she would feed us. Actually, she has no real home, because the house where she lives, belongs to people from the city, which only come from time to time, only every few weeks. But Mom has always remained there, because there was a large covered patio with some hiding places and a large garden.
Food was probably sometimes scarce. Well, if the people were there, there was always moderately food. But when they departed again, Mama always had to look for food on the street. In the garbage cans and so on. Sometimes she went to hunt mice, sometimes good people put some food for her. But she was anxious, she had too many bad experiences and therefore she went no longer into the houses of people. In winter, when the homeowners did not come, she was often quite emaciated.
We are a total of five: three boys and two girls. Mom gave birth to us very quickly, we were not her first litter, so she knew already very well what to do. Having birth is somehow tiring; I went asleep then right after. Mama has licked me beautifully and let me drink a little milk and then I fell asleep. She often left us alone and was not there when I woke up. Then I always got really scared. What would we do if she would not come back? But she always came back, with a mouse, a beetle, a fish, a slice of ham or bread. When I opened my eyes for the first time after a few days, I could see how beautiful she really is: She has very soft, shiny, bright fur, almost beige and beautiful blue eyes.
And then the people came back to visit. This time there were quite a few, said Mom. Loud children were also there, popping with balloons and shouting loudly, so it hurt me terrible in my little ears. Mom finally thought
