    Brat Bottom Gets Stuck in an Alternate Reality

    To my readers

    CHAPTER ONE

    You couldn’t get my follower numbers if you sold your soul, Hai said in an effeminate voice, snapping his fingers. He threw his neck like he had a long head of hair and turned on his heel, walking away from the girl he’d just put down. He didn’t bother looking back at her, but she was shedding tears.

    Bernard, Hai’s classmate at university, saw it all as he leaned against the hallway wall. Hai didn’t know Bernard’s name, but plenty of people around campus knew Hai. He had a following of millions. Bernard knew he never had a chance with Hai, but he found the man incredibly sexy.

    Sara, a fellow blogger and influencer, was waiting at the end of the hall. Hai grabbed her hand as they fell into a fit of laughter at the poor woman’s expense.

    Can you believe her? Asking you to tag her in a picture?

    Hai bit his lip and shook his head. It’s pathetic, isn’t it?

    Completely, Sara said. She flipped her short hair, gaggling as she and Hai continued down the stairs. Their conversation shifted to where they should do their next photoshoot and what they should wear and what products they should sponsor.

    Bernard watched them, shaking his head as he pushed his shoulders off the wall. He knew Hai was an asshole, but he still found that cute little butt irresistible. Too bad he’d never have a chance.

    ~~~
    Birds filled the air with their melodies. Bright plants and flowers brought an ounce of peace to Hai’s otherwise heavy heart. Deep down, he felt bad for laughing in that girl’s face, but he didn’t know how to help himself. He’d lost touch with reality after he hit his first million followers freshman year of university, and it’d only gone downhill since.
    Now he was a senior and up to ten million followers. Hai knew he wouldn’t change, even if his behavior kept him up some nights. His default had become ‘bitch’, and that was all there was to it.
    Hai let out a deep breath and continued down the trail. He would just have to forget about that crying girl from the hallway because his life was above her. Her dramatic reaction to his rejection was her problem to work through. Not his.
    Hai was feeling a little brighter as he continued, focusing his attention on the flora and fauna instead of the dark thoughts running in the background.
    Life wasn’t fair. Hai had worked for everything he had. His success was his to enjoy as far as he was concerned. He was feeling calmer as he neared the
