A few words from the author

This story has a special place in my heart. I’ve always loved to write, but for many years, life simply got in the way. Then, in 2019, I decided to play a new computer game called ’Anno 1800’. I’ve always loved world-building games, and this one in particular. But in order to play, I had to buy a new laptop. So I did. But when it arrived, I discovered the game wouldn’t be released until one month later. Bad luck, eh?

So, while I waited, I decided to write a short story. Inspired by some personal experience working in the IT industry, I created the first version of this story and called it Seduction. It was published chapter by chapter on Literotica, and I received many useful comments and a lot of praise. I also discovered another thing: How much I love to create stories.

Since then, I’ve continued writing and tried to improve, thanks to the enormous help from readers, editors and friends. Therefore, I want to dedicate this story to all of you who inspired me to keep doing what I enjoy the most.

And to those who dream of writing a story but haven’t started yet: Just give it a try. You never know if it will become your favourite hobby or a new way of living.

I still prefer writing over gaming. And I’m forever grateful to Ubisoft for not launching the ’Anno’-game sooner. Thanks, guys. I owe you one (or several, to be honest).
