Bags of puppy love

Seeing my little girl Emma, then 7, laying on the sofa clutching her cuddly toy dog, I started to worry.

Usually running around with her two big brothers, 12 and 10, she’d been under the weather, weak and tired.

Suffering from what I thought was the flu.

‘She’ll be OK in a few days,’ I said to my husband Geoff, then 41.

And she soon seemed to perk up, playing with her brothers again.
