About this ebook

True Christianity has been distorted by the enemy and that's why it seems so mixed up. Many people have been deceived into worshipping other gods instead of worshipping THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE GREAT I AM, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, and THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD, because those who are sent to preach His truth chose to preach what people want to hear rather than the heart of God.This has left many Christians vulnerable to deception because they lack insight into what a true Christian is. Here's a few hints that can help you with insight on what it means to be a true Christian, "For in Him we live and move and have our being." (Acts 17:28).
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives In me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20).

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:4-5). I'm sure you're already starting to see what it means to be a true Christian. Unless you're rooted in Christ and He is in you, you're missing the point. Surely you haven't received the revelation of what it means to be a true Christian, this book is meant to correct some of the many wrongs we're seeing in the church (The body of Christ) today. Many Christians desire so strongly to see the Word and promises of God manifesting in their own lives, and when they don't, they tend to accuse those who are enjoying the promises of God of practising witchcraft, illicit business dealings, etc. This is common, especially in Africa where we have Christians who are wealthy because they have tapped into the divine provisions of God, but you'll discover that many others are poor because they cannot tap into those available provisions, causing a disconnect in the body of Christ.

Being a Christian is much more than just going to church as a hobby, it's deeper than looking for anointed water, oil, stickers and wristbands with a certain man's name and picture on it.
It's beyond laying on of hands; many still lack this knowledge and that's why they cannot be partakers of the promises of God, many of us have made going to church only a tradition: a religious act where you just go and do the same thing always, "Making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do." (Mark 7:13). Until you BECOME a Christian, a true follower and disciple of Jesus Christ, you'll never swim in the promises that we read of in the Word of God. In many scriptures, Christ Jesus teaches us that we need to believe in Him, we must obey His commandments, we must keep His word, we must be connected and rooted in Him; only then will we ask for anything in His name and it shall be done for us (John 14:10-14, John 15).
If you want to be a candidate for the promises of God, you have to STOP following man and start following Christ Himself, for He is the only One who died for you so that you may be saved.

I hope and pray that as you read this book it shall give you enough knowledge to equip you for the next stage of your Christian journey. I pray that you may find keys that will unlock those doors you've been knocking on for far too long, in the Mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ, AMEN.

    FOREWORD

"As a fictional writer and published author, God has given me the ability to observe what others easily miss: with this gift, I’ve always been able to pick up the anointings on the men of God around me without them opening their mouths to announce themselves.

This particular gift, I believe, is the gift of decerning of spirits, spoken of by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:10.

It was more pronounced when I was a younger man, working as a banking consultant: I’d sometimes surprise the men of God who came into the bank for their own reasons, with a greeting like this:

"Greetings pastor, how can I add value to this visit?"

    One replied me like this:

"This is strange; I’m usually the one who knows who people are by just looking at them, I’ve never met anyone who knew me before I knew them." This gift shocked them all, and has connected me with so many graces. Because of this gift, many men of God have blessed me, sought to mentor me, and one prophet began proclaiming the goodness of God in the banking hall, this would normally embarrass the ordinary person, not me: I gave him an amen here and a hallelujah there, before ushering him out of the bank. I was a kingdom banker, Gods fruit was evident in my life, and still is. Those were the good old days.

One afternoon, I had taken my Hyundai mini-truck to the local panel beater to get a job done on the front bumper, as I stood in the middle of the street waiting for the panel beating to start, I heard the faint sound of a familiar gospel song that I loved.

I attempted to ignore the soft sound, but I couldn’t: I closed my eyes to heighten my hearing; I wanted to locate where it was playing from because I believed that either someone was playing it from their passing vehicle, or I was imagining it and it was playing in my heart.

As faint as the song was, it didn’t get any fainter, or louder, instead, it just continued playing in the background of the busy city. I took one step forward into the busy road and began to follow it. I found myself at the door of the Cornerstone Christian Centre and the song was playing from inside the building.

I enquired about it from two women who sat outside: they were welcoming and warm, and one of them told me that they were waiting for the church’s staff to open the doors for them: they were singers in the praise-and-worship team, and as we waited, the song brought more of a delight to my heart because it was playing louder.

After a moment, out came a man, Anesu Emmanuel was his name, and one of the ladies told him that I had come to see him: he seemed curious to know who I was. He walked up to me with a smile.

I asked him, Is it you playing that song?

    "Yes," he replied.

"Theophilus Sunday, I said, that’s my favourite gospel artist."

"He’s mine too," he said. I continued to tell him how I had heard the song playing from down the street, and how I had followed it to where we stood to meet. He smiled and immediately I felt as if he was prophetic: I knew in that moment that he was a man of God, but he doubted it with humility.

Besides, anybody who listens to that type of gospel music has a yearning to please the heart of Jesus. We shared a few pleasantries briefly on that day, exchanged numbers and have met on many occasions to talk about the Master, Jesus Christ, ever since. That’s the story about how I met the author of this book, a truly humble and kind man.

I must say, after reading this book, it has helped me to remember the things that I once forgot: the things that many Christians push aside whenever they think they have reached deeper levels with God, the basic foundations of Christianity that we ought to always cherish.

SO, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, I INTRODUCE YOU TO THIS AMAZING BOOK, I HOPE IT BRINGS YOU BACK TO YOUR FIRST LOVE, JESUS CHRIST, GIVES THE HOLY SPIRIT MORE ACCESS INTO YOUR LIFE AND HEART, AND ENLIGHTENS THE EYES OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN."

    ~PRINCE NDABA

    INTRODUCTION

True Christianity has been distorted by the enemy and that’s why it seems so mixed up. Many people have been deceived into worshipping other gods instead of worshipping THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE GREAT I AM, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, and THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE LIVING GOD, because those who are sent to preach His truth chose to preach what people want to hear rather than the heart of God.

This has left many Christians vulnerable to deception because they lack insight into what a true Christian is. Here’s a few hints that can help you with insight on what it means to be a true Christian, For in Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28).

I’m sure you’re already starting to see what it means to be a true Christian. Unless you’re rooted in Christ and He is in you, you’re missing the point. Surely you haven’t received the revelation of what it means to be a true Christian, this book is meant to correct some of the many wrongs we’re seeing in the church (The body of Christ) today.

Many Christians desire so strongly to see the Word and promises of God manifesting in their own lives, and when they don’t, they tend to accuse those who are enjoying the promises of God of practising witchcraft, illicit business dealings, etc.

This is common, especially in Africa where we have Christians who are wealthy because they have tapped into the divine provisions of God, but you’ll discover that many others are poor because they cannot tap into those available provisions, causing a disconnect in the body of Christ.

Being a Christian is much more than just going to church as a hobby, it’s deeper than looking for anointed water, oil, stickers and wristbands with a certain man’s name and picture on it.

It’s beyond laying on of hands; many still lack this knowledge and that’s why they cannot be partakers of the promises of God, many of us have made going to church only a tradition: a religious act where you just go and do the same thing always, Making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do. (Mark 7:13).

Until you BECOME a Christian, a true follower and disciple of Jesus Christ, you’ll never swim in the promises that we read of in the Word of God.

As much as we want so badly to live in the promises of God, it’s therefore our duty to make sure that we dig deeper into the many ways for us to be candidates.

You might be wondering why I keep pointing to the promises of God, I’m actually pointing to the prosperity gospel that others are preaching, and attempting to point out the missing links in their doctrine.

We’re all aware of the riches that are written of in the Word of God, but we were never taught on how to tap into them. We think that by just being a regular visitor in church, having a bottle of anointed water or oil will automatically qualify us to partake of the promises of God!

That’s far from being true, that MIGHT work for small things, but not the real things that are written by the Apostle Paul: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9).

Your pastor will never emphasize on the LOVING GOD part of this scripture because you don’t want to hear it, you only want to hear the other parts where it speaks of how big the things that await the people of God are, so he compromises.

For every blessing in the Word of God there is a requirement or instruction that goes with it and you can never override this process no matter who you go through.

One of the things I’d like to emphasize is that many of us go to God with the wrong motives, we are seeking after things, which Is contrary to what Jesus Christ taught in (Matthew 6:33), But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. God does not withhold anything from us, He has made everything available for us, it’s our methods that are hindering us from tapping into them, once we start doing everything according to what
