About this ebook
Rainer J. Loveiam writes to delve into the confrontation and conversation with the mystery that surrounds all of life and with which we are always unconsciously in contact. Something mysterious exists there, free from the past and the future, free from complicated experiences and memories - to save ourselves from the person we identified with a moment ago. Yet far removed from the actions that proved predictable and uninspired - to fight for the delinquent child whose pictures shine with spontaneous metamorphoses.
Rainer Loveiam
Rainer Loveiam has been an enthusiastic explorer of the human mind and a world traveler all of his life. Leaving Germany at a young age during the “student’s revolution” he found answers to many of life’s questions and challenges in other cultures and countries and never stopped to ask more questions. While exploring the limits and deeper meaning of life and spirituality he studied Eastern and Western Psychology, Anthroposophy, Yoga, Tantra, Meditation, Tai Chi, Taoism, Occultism, Holistic Health, Sustainable Farming and effective natural techniques to obtain Optimum Health. Seeking the ultimate experience he found it to be present in daily living, in the present moment – on the job, in the family or in the daily encounter with self-observation. Suffering accompanies life as a mother is nursing her young child every day. Experiencing the divine presence suffering becomes a vehicle for Transformation and Enlightenment.Born and raised in postwar Germany, Rainer has experienced the results of war and how a new society was formed out of a world in ruins. In today’s world where conflict in societies and families is rampant and difficult to resolve mankind needs to look inside to find the answers that can lead to a free world in which people can think for themselves and act accordingly to create peace for everyone incl. the underprivileged and disenchanted.Rainer Loveiam has worked and lived the last 8 years in Thailand, guiding groups and individuals through the self-help process of reaching Optimum Health. It is man’s birthright to be healthy, prosperous and happy. Anything less will not do during this lifetime. Working on “The Flower Is Meditating” began in 2010 when Rainer was visiting Bali. Bali has a unique spiritual atmosphere which can lead to a breakthrough in awareness/consciousness and a lessening of the barriers that exist between us as individuals and the demands and pressures of our time. You can contact Rainer at eutin45@yahoo.com and he will send you details about his upcoming rejuvenation retreats/programs in Thailand and other destinations.

Seit 2012 lebt Rainer wieder in Berlin.
Instead of a foreword:
Rainer J. Loveiam writes to enter into the confrontation and conversation with the mystery that surrounds all of life and with which we are always unconsciously in contact. Something mysterious exists there, free from the past and from the future, free from complicated experiences and memories - to save ourselves from the person we identified with a moment ago. Yet far removed from the actions that proved predictable and uninspired - to fight for the delinquent child whose pictures shine with spontaneous metamorphoses.
Poetry can be a dialogue with all that is mortal and immortal. Without the ability to marvel, to experience stillness, there is no poetry. To release the unity of all life from its lostness with transformative content and to commemorate our vulnerability, this opens up insights into our soul.
Rainer Loveiam was born in 1945 and grew up in post-war West Germany. Emigrated in 1970 and never really returned. Worked as a holistic consultant in many countries incl. Spain, Hawaii, California and Thailand. Found late to writing poetry in 2011 to look for new ways to discover and to describe the human psyche and soul with their confusions and hopes. Rainer has lived in Berlin again since 2012.
"Es sind noch Lieder zu singen
Jenseits der Menschen"
(Paul Celan)
Ich lebe mein Leben in wachsenden Ringen
Die sich über die Dinge ziehen
Ich werde den letzten vielleicht nicht vollbringen
Aber versuchen will ich ihn
Ich kreise um Gott
und den uralten Turm
Und ich kreise jahrtausendelang
Und ich weiß noch nicht
Bin ich Falke
oder Sturm
oder ein großer Gesang (Rainer Maria Rilke)
I live my life in growings rings
Who pull themselves over things
I may not finish the last one
But I want to try it
I revolve around God
Around the ancient tower
And I've been circling for millennia
And I don't know yet:
Am I a falcon
A storm
Or a great song
(Rainer Maria Rilke)
Blauer Weihrauch
Meine Lust
Meine Verzweiflung
So nahe beieinander
Im Körper eines Kindes
Das immer gegenwärtig war
Wach und doch verloren
So schwebte ich lautlos durch das Pflanzenreich
Eine schwangere Mangostane hielt sich
An meinem Gaumen fest
Genüsslich
Unverhohlen
Preisgegeben
Das Grab geschaufelt von unsichtbaren Händen
Dumpf und schwefelig
Das Los verwehter Erinnerungen
Die sich langsam sammelten
Über und unter mir
In der Höhe und ihren Entfernungen
Aus der Enge hohler Gesichter und Gewässer
Drängte sich ein Einbaum
Durch elfenbeinerne Gesänge
Um den Nacken des Eisvogels geschlungen
Wie Perlen um einen Hals
Abgeschieden und trotzig
Vernunftlos und parallel zum Universum
Nicht immer abwegig oder schattenlos
Klammernd an ein vergilbtes Stück blauer Seide
Ein Kopf der dachte
Und dann schwieg
Bis die Seide verbrannte
Und keine Asche hinterließ
Die Reisenden suchen eine Herberge
Immer noch
Sie haben ihre Masken abgelegt
Und verschenken sie
An die Kinder im Markt
Mit Kindern lässt sich die Erinnerung ertragen
Auch sie erkennen die Tore zur Ferne
Und verschließen sich keiner Reise
Mit ihnen schwebe ich weiter
Über den Toren zur Ferne
Und verbrenne im blauen Weihrauch
Dahinten sind die Berge
In ihrem purpurnen Dialog
Blue incense
Floating over the gates into the distance
Travelers roam the markets
They wear petrified masks
Over their old scars
On the road to Angkor Wat
I was like a tree
Rather one of his branches
In this world
He modestly made room for my body parts
As chosen by the soul
With her leafless branches
They all saw my nudity
My lust
My despair
So close together
In a child's body
Always present
Awake and yet lost
Floating silently through the plant kingdom
A pregnant mangosteen was holding on
Stuck to the roof of my mouth
Enjoyable
Blatantly
Disclosed
The grave dug by invisible hands
Dull and sulphurous
The lot of lost memories
That slowly gathered
Above and below me
In all the heights and their distances
From the narrowness of hollow faces and waters
A dugout canoe huddled
Through ivory chants
Wrapped around the kingfisher's neck
Like pearls around a neck
Secluded and defiant
Without reason and parallel to the universe
Not always absurd or without shadows
Clinging to a yellowed piece of blue silk
A head that thought
And then fell silent
Until the silk burned
And left no ashes behind
The travelers are looking for a hostel
Still
They have taken off their masks
And give them away
To the children in the market
A memory can be borne with children
They too recognize the gates to the distance
And do not miss any journey
I float on with them
Above the gates into the distance
And burn in the blue incense
Behind are the mountains
In their purple dialogue
With the questions we cannot bear
We don't have to argue about the answers
Because we never knew them
And still don't want to get to know them
I will never write a book with a thousand pages
More likely I will create a millennial empire
Maybe marry a centipede
Or remain a jack of all trades
Life is not as simple as a book with a thousand pages
It can fall in love
Or mourn its sadness
Maybe it's an early death
Who will not apologize for anything
Just for participating in everything
And mostly contradicting himself through life
It was always able to convince itself of this
And that there were other things
Who could only engage in secret
And didn't have to be ashamed of anyone
As if it was yesterday
So only the truth remained
Which rose from the tombs of the dead
And became mixed with the smoke
From the burned towns and fields
A world that can hardly be civilized
Only the demon was hiding in it
Like bugs on the floor of a stable
That was never swept
And got spoiled with death
Seldom to be ashamed of his life ended so soon
Now I'm thinking about writing a book
One more time
Treibend
Ohne Kompass
Ohne Verstand
Maybe I was just chained to memory
An iceberg in the Arctic Ocean
Impulsive
Without a compass
Without thought
Maybe I was just the dolphin
Used to playing with the sea
With the companions
While having intercourse with blue seaweed
And late descendants
Maybe I was just a clothesline
Where the scraps of the past still waved in the wind
Clinging to what once was
Dried for the next Sunday outing
Maybe I was just getting lost in the moss
And couldn't free myself on my own
Like
