Curiosity of teenagers and good parenting - Milan Yadav

    Teenage & Teenagers

There are some stages of life in human beings which can be categorised as:

    •  Infancy

    •  Childhood

    •  Teenage

    •  Adulthood

    •  Old age

    INFANCY:

Age group: 0 to 1 year

This stage of humans is the first stage.

In this stage the baby is born and hence he/she is referred to as an INFANT and this stage is known as INFANCY.

    CHILDHOOD:

Age group: 1-2 to 12-13 years

This is the second stage of human life. At this stage this human is referred to as a CHILD and hence this stage is known as CHILDHOOD.

    TEENAGE:

Age group: 13 years to 19 years

This is the third stage of human life and the human here is referred to as a TEENAGER and the stage is called TEENAGE.

This is the age in which precautions must be taken at the largest extent by the parents.

FIGHTS, ATTRACTION, CURIOSITY etc takes place during this phase.

Children start to think that they are the supreme powers and their parents / grandparents / elders don't know anything…

They just don't think that their elders have reached this age by passing all the stages and they have gone through this age also.

This is the most important reason that they don't want their youngers to repeat the same mistake or mistakes that they have committed during their age.

    ADULTHOOD:

Age group: 18 years or older

Young adult (18-25 age), Adult (26-44 age), Middle-age (45-59 age), Old age (60 age).

This is the age when a person starts to understand what silly mistakes were being done by him/her… They start to understand their responsibilities and what is wrong and what is right.

    OLD AGE:

Age group: 60-65 years or older

This is the age of a person when he comes to know that he/she has been running after WEALTH, BEAUTY, SUCCESS, PERSONS etc that are of no use to them now. They are now useless to them.

During their early ages they always lived a MATERIALISTIC LIFE.

No one cares for them if they don't possess a certain amount of wealth or name that is being passed over to their future generations. When this legacy is passed then no one takes care of them. They are left all alone either in VRADDHASHRAMS or they are treated very badly. They are kept in humiliating conditions.

Not all of the future generation is doing so but mostly this can be seen.

Just to teach MORALITY we have been reading several stories either in 'Literature section' or in 'Moral Science'. The most famous story is 'JUMMAN, ALAGU AND KHALA'.

As time passes, humans become more materialistic.

No value of emotions is left.

He/she thinks of his/her profit only.

    Age of storm

The age of adolescence is termed as 'the AGE OF STORM'. During this age a CHILD becomes a storm i.e. he/she can't be controlled. They just want to be free. They don't like any restrictions being put over them. They just want that no one should interfere in their lives. They are ready to indulge in any sort of work whether that work is legally right or not.

This is the only stage where they become easily addicted to many sorts of things such as DRUGS, ALCOHOL, CIGARETTE, OPPOSITE GENDER, PORN etc.

Their power of differentiating between wrong and right is least during this time.

All they know is that they are superior…

    Adolescence and Puberty –

    Adolescence:

Adolescence is the phase of life between childhood and adulthood, from ages 10 to 19. It is a unique stage of human development and an important time for laying the foundations of good health. Adolescents experience rapid physical, cognitive and psychosocial growth.

    Puberty:

Puberty is the time in life when a boy or girl becomes sexually mature. It is a process that usually happens between ages 10 and 14 for girls and ages 12 and 16 for boys. It causes physical changes, and affects boys and girls differently.

    Changes in Adolescents:

    Boys:

    1. Broadening of chest and shoulders: Many physical changes occur in boys with the onset of puberty. Their chest and shoulders broaden and their muscles start to develop.

    2. Deepening of voice: The voice gets deeper and Adam's Apple starts to protrude.

    3. Appearance of body hair and pubic hair: Hair begins to grow on the chest, in the armpits, hands, legs and in the groin area. Hair in the groin region is called pubic hair. Hair begins to grow on the face that later develops into a moustache and beard.

    4. Increase in size of genitals: The penis and the testicles grow bigger in size.

    5. Growth spurt: During puberty boys experience a rapid growth in height over a span of 2 to 3 years. This rapid growth in
