    Forest 1 Bomber Plane Down

    The World War 2 bomber crashed through the trees like a meteor totally out of control., this screaming banshee a black painted plane going madly down to oblivion. At hundreds of miles per hour it brushed the tops of the trees cutting off leaves and branches diving deeper cutting trees like matchwood. Ripping open the plane’s thin alloy breaking of propeller blades smashing in the glass front till bigger trees tore off the wings broke the plane slowly apart. A path cut in the trees to the ground. When the disintegrating plane hit the ground the live bombs went off. Tons of sleeping explosive woke up not on an enemy target but in a Belgian forest. If the crew wasn’t killed by Nazi gunfire or careering through the trees the final act of destruction finished them. The bombs went off ceasing the broken plane and seven men from existence. A powerful yellow explosion flew debris hundreds of feet and tore a deep crater into the forest floor. Bombs meant to be aimed at an enemy target or town. Flames hungrily consumed any remaining fuel fabric or flesh plus broken trees. It was a disaster area a single act in wartime one of millions. A British bomber plane and crew no longer existed except in memory and at the crash site. A desecrated forest once natural full of wild life now on fire till the flames ran out of
