CONCLUSION
INTRODUCTION
Feeling good about ourselves is-or should be-the most important goal in our lives. The other goals that we set out to achieve, or that we have already achieved, will never compensate for inner well-being if this is lacking. Unfortunately, in today's society it often happens that we fail to accept ourselves, that we think we do not live up to the standards that are set before us, and this sense of inadequacy undermines our self-esteem.
Feeling good is not just a matter of physical fitness: the starting point is to love yourself as you are. None of us is perfect, and this is a fact: we should not be fooled by the golden veneer that seems to envelope certain characters who are placed as role models. In many contexts, appearance is the only thing that matters, but this cannot be the yardstick of our existence. The beliefs we were given as children and the people we are close to have contributed (and continue to do so) to our perception of ourselves. However, the judgments of others should not be granitic yardsticks.
Since everyone interprets things subjectively, it is a mistake to be influenced by others in our view of ourselves. What we should do is to be able to increase our self-awareness in order to see every aspect that affects us objectively. The moment that the weight that is given to things is not real or is influenced by the view of others we risk increasing our insecurities, instead only by giving things a consonant value and scaling back external judgments is it possible to feel good about ourselves. It is not possible to feel good about ourselves if we are then the first fearful judges of ourselves and condemn ourselves without appeal to being inept. This does not mean that we should not analyze ourselves objectively; on the contrary: conscientious self-analysis is the first step toward peace with ourselves. After taking stock of our strengths, weaknesses, potential and limitations, it becomes essential to accept ourselves as we are; we cannot live our lives chasing dreams of something unattainable because this would only end up generating an ever-increasing sense of dissatisfaction.
For example, if we have thyroid-related weight problems, we can never have the statuesque physique of a model, no matter how much effort we may put in. However, this should neither push us toward the abyss of despair nor lead us to let go completely: balance lies in accepting ourselves. There are things we can change and others that are not in our power: accepting the latter without making drama out of them is the key to being happy. It is with these words, my dear reader, that I wish you a pleasant journey between the lines of love and change among the following pages. It only remains for me to wish you the best of luck and to put it in the words of Paul Coelho: It is necessary to keep dreaming, otherwise our soul dies."

BOOST YOUR SELF-ESTEEM
IMG_256We are all aware that self-esteem may account for a significant portion of personal achievement. People who have low self-esteem may feel dejected or despondent. It can also lead to bad decisions, disastrous relationships, or failure to live up to one's full and complete potential. Too much self-esteem, as shown in narcissistic personality disorder, can be discouraging to others and can harm interpersonal relationships. Self-esteem levels at the extremes of the range can be damaging, therefore it is preferable to strike a balance somewhere in the middle. A realistic yet positive self-image is often seen as optimal. But, exactly, what is self-esteem? Where does it originate from, and how much of an impact does it have on our lives?
What is self-esteem?
The word self-esteem is used in psychology to express a person's general opinion of himself or herself. In other words, how much and how highly you regard oneself. Self-esteem is frequently seen as a personality attribute, which implies that it is stable and long-lasting. Furthermore, self-esteem can include a wide range of views about oneself, such as your assessment of your looks, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Throughout your life, self-esteem may play a vital influence in motivation and success. Because you do not feel you are capable of accomplishment, low self-esteem might impede you from achieving in school or at job. Good self-esteem, on the other hand, may help you navigate through life with a positive, forceful attitude and the confidence that you can achieve your goals.
The desire for excellent self-esteem is significant in psychologist Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which describes self-esteem as one of the basic human motives. Maslow proposed that humans require both external and internal esteem. Both of these requirements must be addressed in order for a person to grow and reach self-actualization. It is vital to distinguish between self-esteem and self-efficacy, which refers
