About this ebook

This book is part 3 of the billionaire's assistant series, It is First Person, Multi POV.

Elise Cortez has an unfortunate blend of poor coordination and bad luck, leading her from one job loss to another. At the end of her rope, she's offered one last chance: a nanny and assistant position. But instead of caring for just one child, she's handed the responsibility of three. To complicate matters, these are not the sweet, angelic children she'd envisioned; each carries the weight of their own troubling past, despite their tender years.

Enter Dante Palmert, a highly successful businessman. As broken as the children he's raising, Dante's rigid ways and intolerance for mistakes — especially when it concerns his parenting style — have resulted in a string of resignations from past nannies. Out of options, he takes a gamble on Elise, a complete novice in the childcare realm. Yet, this might be the most serendipitous mistake he's ever made.

In a world where temptation hides behind every corner and desires lurk beneath polished surfaces, this tale entices with the intoxicating allure of forbidden passions. Beneath the daily routines and stern facades, raw passions simmer, waiting for the spark that will set them ablaze.

Venture into the seductive realm of Elise Cortez, the novice assistant whose innocence is tested and tantalized, as she navigates a web of secrets and lust.

    Tony POV

Looking at the ceiling after an amazing sex with a hottie, I find myself naked, stretched out in bed with my hands behind my head. I needed to release all of my energy today after Lilih left angry. It wasn't my intention to leave her upset or hurt. I really like Elise and Joyce, and that's obvious to anyone who sees us together.

    - You seem very thoughtful today, darling!

I turn my head to the side and find an incredible woman still naked coming out of the bathroom. I sit up on the bed and she approaches me, climbing onto the bed and walking behind me, placing her beautiful hands on my shoulders.

    - Did you fight with the girls? - I say, sighing heavily.

    - Again, my love?

I moan as I feel the incredible massage taking effect on my body.

    - Yes, but this time my Li got really mad at me!

    - Is it that bad? Every time you fight, you always go back to normal.

I close my eyes, enjoying the sensation of being massaged. We always make up, but my anger upon finding out she's getting married and not telling me was so strong that I lost control.

    - I don't know, she left today still angry with me.

I moan as I feel soft lips kissing my neck.

    - Maybe she has a point. You're very jealous sometimes.

    - I know, and that's why I feel bad.

    - What happened this time?

She stops the massage and turns around, sitting on my lap. I automatically place my hands on her eager butt.

    Hottie and all mine!

    - She's getting married and she didn't tell me. - I make a face - As her friend, she should have told me, damn it.

    - Is that all? And why did you get so mad?

    - It's not just that, I love the girls very much. - the beautiful redhead frowns a bit, but then relaxes, and I can tell she didn't like it - What I feel for them is totally fraternal, it's as if they were my younger sisters. And me, as the older protective brother. I don't feel attracted to them, and if I did, I would never forgive myself for it.

    - I think it's incredible that you protect them like that, but you need to control yourself more.

I nod, defeated. Morgan wraps her arms around my neck and leans in to kiss me, letting go of my problems and thoughts and completely surrendering to the heat of the moment.

I turn her around and end up on top of her, her legs wrapped around my waist, fitting perfectly. She gasps, and once again, we give in to pleasure.

I met Morgan a while ago at a club, and since then, whenever I come here, I look for her to satisfy our lust. But lately, we've been getting more involved, and it bothers me a bit because I'm not interested in anything serious, and I suspect that Morgan is.

    - You never told me your Li's name! What's her name?

Morgan says, caressing my chest. I kiss the top of her red hair.

    - Elise!

She sits up surprised, and I don't understand her reaction. Did I say something wrong?

    - You said this Li of yours is getting married, right?

I nod, confused. She thinks for a moment and I alert myself, she's damn hot.

    - I also know an Elise who's getting married. Do you think it's a coincidence?

    - It could be. - I pull her back into my chest and start stroking her hair. - Elise is a common name.

She agrees and falls silent, and so do I. My thoughts go to my fragile Li. I do my best to protect her, and I only want what's best for her. Jealousy is something I can't control, when I really like someone, I want them all to myself. It's a bit selfish, but that's how I am. Elise suddenly appeared in my life, and I don't want to lose her easily. But hiding from me that she's getting married, that she has a man in her life and shares her fears with him, it hurts me. She could have told me that she was seeing someone. Sure, I would have thrown a fit, but I should have known.

    - Antony, can I ask you something?

    - Go ahead. - I say, still lost in my thoughts.

I like being around Morgan, she never pushes me or demands anything.

    - What's Elise like? Like, her appearance.

    - Short, brown hair, brown eyes, beautiful and stressed...

Morgan sits up again, surprised, and unintentionally, I lose focus as I look at her beautiful breasts, imagining what I want to do.

    - It can't be!

I turn my gaze back to her face, and she has a shocked expression.

    - What?

    - Elise Cortez, am I right?

    - Yes, how do you know?

She stares at me, astonished, and sits on the bed on her heels.

    - Oh my God, Antony, I know Lise and Joy. How did I never realize...

She opens and closes her mouth multiple times without saying anything. I can't form a single word either. Since when does Morgan know the girls?

    - How?

    - This is so hilarious. - she smiles, still amazed. - Antony, have you ever heard Lise talk about her wedding?

    - You know? - I ask, getting up from the bed.

    - Yes, I know everything. Dante and Matt have been trying to find out more about her and discovered things...

    - Who the hell is this Dante?

Of everything she said, the only thing I understood was the bastard name Dante. Damn it! This guy is stealing my Lilih. And he's her asshole boss.

    - Dante is my cousin. But he has reasons for this wedding.

    - I already don't like this guy. - I say, crossing my arms, irritated and defeated.

    - Dante wants to help her, Antony. Jorge hid the fact that Elise is his daughter, and that got him curious. He found out that the bastard was involved in money laundering and sort of bet his daughter in a corrupt game.

I blink in surprise at the information. They found out about all of this? Shit, I'm useless, I couldn't protect Lilih. Lilih mentioned something like this, but in my anger, I couldn't form any thoughts.

    - I want to talk to this Dante!

    - Antony, I don't know if that's a good idea...

    - Look, Morgan, whether he likes it or not, I'm going to find out where this guy works, and if necessary, where he lives. I'm going to force him to spill everything he knows about this story.

    - I don't know if it will help, Dante can be stubborn when he wants.

    - Great, I can be stubborn too when I want!

I say and look for my clothes around the room. This guy is going to tell me everything he knows, if Lilih is in any kind of danger, I have to know. I'm going to protect her no matter what.

    - Are you leaving already?

I look at Morgan, who is still on the bed. She looks at me hurt, and I know the reason, she wants more than just sex, and that's something I can't give.

    - Yes, I think I've taken advantage of your willingness enough.

    - Will you spend the night here?

I stop in my tracks with my pants in my hand. She realizes what she said and adds.

    - I just want to enjoy the night a little more, nothing more if that's what you're thinking.

I hesitate whether I should stay or not, but after battling with my body and mind, I drop my pants and walk to the bed. She smiles for having gotten her way and grabs me when I climb onto the bed. Whatever we have, I want to continue it, even though I deny the obvious. And most importantly, I'm going to find out everything Dante knows about that bastard Jorge and do what I've wanted to do for years, punch him in the face!

    Chapter 36

    Dante!

Still smiling, I see her close the door. I run my hand through my hair to calm myself, then go to the table and sit in the chair.

    Sofia speaks!

It's amazing to know that my little one speaks, but it's horrible to know that she's afraid of me. Me, who would do anything for her. I sigh in defeat and stand up without knowing what to do.

    Talk to them...

Would I be capable of just having a conversation? Are you listening to yourself, Dante? Capable of talking? They're your children, you can do it.

I huff, looking for a way out. I've never been one to talk to my children. And now I have to do that, even though it won't work. Since when do I listen to what the nannies suggest?

Since Elise never became the real nanny!

My subconscious warns me. And the worst part is that it's right, since the first time I saw her in my office, I knew I was screwed. I run my hands through my hair in frustration. Finally, I decide to go talk to them, to apologize for today. Maybe it's a great way to get closer to them.

I walk determinedly to where the children are, all in their rooms. I decide to go to Luke's room first, maybe then I can even tell him about what Elise and I have. And do we have anything? I shake my head, pushing away any thoughts, and knock on Luke's door before opening it.

Luke is sitting on the bed with his guitar on his lap. I've always been impressed by Luke's ability to play the guitar so well, just like the electric guitar. But I've never said anything to him. Luke looks at me and sets his guitar aside, placing it next to his bed.

    - Did I do something wrong now and forgot? - he asks with a bitter tone in his voice.

    - No, I just came to talk...

    - And since when do you talk, sir?

Luke asks, grumbling. I frown at his audacity. This kid never learns to respect me.

    - Don't test me, Luke...

    - Dad, since I didn't do anything, could you leave my room? I want to be alone, or don't I have that right in your house?

I blink in surprise, and my blood boils instantly. Luke now dares to defy me? And to make matters worse, he kicks me out of his damn room.

    - Who gave you the right to confront me, Lukesson? I am your father and I demand respect!

    - Of course, sorry, Daddy. - his voice comes out sarcastic, and my irritation grows - What else will you forbid me from? No TV, no video games, no internet, nothing. What else are you going to take away? Isn't it enough that you keep me locked up in this house?

I take a few steps towards Luke,
