Chapter 1:

I wake up sweating, again. The same nightmares that keep coming back, haunting my nights for a few weeks now. I'm tired, even exhausted, and I know that the only thing that can comfort me is my bottle of Coca Cola. I get up, walk to the fridge, and drink a sip. The sweet and refreshing taste soothes me a little, but I know it's temporary. I need to stop this addiction, I know it, but I can't.

I then remember the recent events that have happened in my life. Strange appearances, voices talking to me, coded messages that make no sense to me. I feel crazy, but I know that's not possible. I'm sure of what I've seen and heard. That's why I think my hallucinations are coming from my dependency. Maybe if I manage to stop drinking this junk, my visions will disappear.

But for now, I'm alone with my thoughts and questions without answers. I decide to go outside and get some fresh air, maybe it will help me clarify my ideas. I leave my house and walk towards the park. That's where I see him. He's there, standing in front of me, staring at me. I immediately recognize his silhouette, it's him, Ra. I only see him in my dreams and visions, and I'm the only one who can see him. People think I'm crazy when I talk to myself, but I know it's him who's talking to me.

He looks at me and smiles, then he turns and walks away, as if he were made of mist. I follow him, running behind him. I want to know what he wants to tell me, why he's talking to me, why he only appears to me. He stops in front of a wall, then turns to me and looks at me. He points to an inscription engraved on the wall, which I have never noticed before. I approach to read it, and I discover a coded message. I feel it's important, it's the key to understanding everything.

I wake up with a start, my heart racing. I feel like I had a nightmare, but I can't remember it. I sit on my bed and try to get a grip. I look around, everything seems normal, but yet something is wrong. I don't know what, but it's like I feel a presence beside me.
