About this ebook
Is someone still considered your "work wife" if you're both women?
Rachel and Brittany have been friends for a long time. Good friends. They both started at Phoenix Technology on the same day and have worked on the same team ever since. For years they've joked around calling each other their office spouse, much to the consternation of the women they've dated.
But lately, things have felt different…
First, there's that time Rachel accidentally walks in on Brittany showering in the company gym. Then there's that tiny little kiss after the office holiday party, the one neither of them can stop thinking of. And then there's an unexpected mix-up at the hotel on a company trip. When the two friends wind up sharing a room, they can't hide their feelings any longer.
Turns out that their feelings are more 'wifey' than friendly, but can their relationship survive the change?
"My Office Wife" is book eleven in the "Friends to Lovers" romantic novella series. Each book in the series is a steamy standalone featuring an LGBTQ couple making the leap from friends to lovers and looking for their "happily ever after".

Ten years ago...
Welcome to Phoenix Software. My name is Madison Phoenix, and I’m thrilled to have you all join our team.
I gazed at Madison Phoenix with something akin to hero worship. One of the youngest female billionaires in the world, she’d started Phoenix Software in her college dorm room and quickly turned it into one of the most successful companies in the country. The company’s first product was a social media scheduling and marketing system for businesses, but they’d expanded over the years to offer a variety of software solutions focused on small to medium sized businesses.
Phoenix was currently expanding to add an employee management system. The new program could handle timesheets, time off requests, and performance management functions. Industry insiders were predicting that it would blow programs like ADP and Workday out of the water.
With multiple preorders on the books already, a new team of customer support specialists was being stood up. The CSS team would work with companies one-on-one to create reports, troubleshoot issues, and help with implementation.
After five years of working at a rival payroll solutions company, I was ready to move into the big leagues. And Phoenix Software was the big leagues for sure.
I glanced around, noting that of the twelve new employees on the team there was only one man. One person appeared to be non-binary, and the rest of us were women. I wasn’t surprised. Phoenix Software had a reputation for being a supportive working environment for people who were part of the LGBTQ community, probably because Madison herself was a lesbian.
And most of the senior managers too, or so I’d heard.
Now I’d like to introduce you to Claire Langford. She will be your team lead, mentor, and taskmaster as we roll out Phoenix Employee Solutions. Good luck to all of you and again, welcome to the team.
As Madison strode out of the room I looked around again. A woman one row back kept catching my attention. She was stunning, with long, straight brown hair and deep brown eyes that darkened when she caught my gaze. I felt a little zing, then shoved it back down. There was no way I was going to
