The world of surrogacy is a realm often overlooked, shrouded in polarized perspectives. Surrogacy wasn't a path I'd always envisioned for myself. It came to me serendipitously, yet it became an unexpected source of fulfillment. There was a profound joy in bestowing the gift of family upon another. Despite having my tubes tied after four children, I felt I could give something invaluable to those who struggled to conceive.

But this journey, like life itself, was a blend of highs and lows. Surrogacy, though, remains an enigma to many. My aim with this book is to illuminate the mysteries of this remarkable journey and make it less obscure to all.

The Applicant

Ughhh! Back to my old faithful Craigslist! Job searching, for me, used to be like 1-2-3. Now that everyone is revising their resumes or making up crap, as I like to call it, job searching feels like pure torture!

For some reason, jobs and I never got along well; either the women were too catty, the boss was too damn bossy, or waiting 8 hours to go home just wasn't an option. The number one problem, of course, was that the pennies they were paying me wouldn't dare cover the cost of raising four kids!
