It illuminates the intricacies of the human psyche and the secrets of personal happiness and contentment.

The book tackles the age-old quest for happiness. It explores the winding paths to joy, especially when life throws us curveballs. He equips you with the tools to navigate life's tumultuous seas, to embrace every moment with an open heart, and to find joy in the most unexpected places.

Boylan's deep dive into the art of goal setting serves as a beacon for those steering their life's ship through stormy waters. Boylan offers real-life examples of goals that can help guide you in creating a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.

As you embark on this enlightening journey of self-discovery, you'll explore the concept of "living longer," not just in terms of years but in the richness and quality of your experiences. Boylan examines the psycology between work and personal life, the intricacies of managing time, and the dance between ambition and rest. The book delves into the nuances of personality characteristics & the full spectrum of personality traits that forge your individuality. Explore the significance of dreaming big, the importance of being on time, and the art of savoring life's fleeting moments.

Life's journey is filled with ups & downs, moments of joy and times when we feel life is hard or even think, "I need help." Boylan's compassionate voice resounds throughout the book, reminding readers that "God has a plan for you," offering solace & motivating readers to find comfort in divine wisdom. He highlights that feeling bored with life or feeling adrift without purpose can be catalysts for personal growth and rediscovery.

Boylan's book serves as a guide for those wrestling with questions like "how to focus on yourself" without coming across as self-centered. It provides insights into how to be happy with & enjoy yourself, how to feel genuinely happy, and how to live on purpose. The author challenges readers to acknowledge that sometimes our bad traits are mere reflections of our fears and insecurities. Recognizing and embracing these aspects of ourselves is the first step toward self-love and transformation.

Throughout the book, the benefits of enjoying life to the fullest are emphasized. It reveals that the secret to true happiness and contentment lies within us, waiting to be unearthed. In a world where universities offer courses on myriad topics, no institution teaches us how to simply enjoy life. Boylan fills this void, offering a masterclass on finding joy in the everyday, in the mundane, and in the extraordinary moments of life.

    About the Author

    Preface

My mission is to create a movement across America that changes everyday conversations and thoughts FROM subjects people can’t control TO the personal choices they can control.

I believe God wants His gift of free will used correctly.

The author Kirk Byron Jones says, "The ability to register and regulate our thinking requires both imagination and rationale.

"This ability is the most powerful ability we have.

"We have control over what we think about and how we think about it."

Jones continues: God could have made himself 100% responsible for us. But he didn’t. He made us response – able.

By accepting the challenge to Discover What Makes You Tick, you generate an opportunity to take control over your mind and life.

According to wise, successful people, the most important thing you can do is discover how you make choices.

It starts with discovering what makes you tick. Then you will know why you’re enjoying life, or not.

You need to get clarity on your beliefs, your values, your habits, your unique personality quirks and your character traits.

All those combined are the foundation from which you make decisions.

It’s the foundation from which you make choices.

Once you find out what makes you tick, you will know what you should continue doing because it helps you enjoy life.

And you will have discovered what you must change because it keeps you from enjoying life.

And you will begin thinking about what you have control over.

And we become what we think about.

The author Max Lucado writes: You are the air traffic controller of your mental airport.

Get a grip on your life and stop complaining about all of the things you can’t act on or control.

Get a grip on what you can control by discovering what makes you tick.

Let the coffee shop conversations begin about what you are working on to control your mind and life to yield a very enjoyable life.

You have the opportunity to decide to change one or more of your beliefs, values, habits, character traits, etc., so you will make choices differently, which will improve your life.

You have the opportunity to take control over your choices by discovering what makes you tick.

You have the opportunity to use God’s gift of free will. Give your intentionality a big nudge to discover what makes you tick!

    My Mission

I expect to create a movement across America that changes everyday conversations and thoughts FROM subjects people can’t control TO the personal choices they can control.

When you discover your beliefs, values, unique personality quirks, habits and character traits, you’ll have discovered what makes you tick.

All those rolled together are the foundation for why you have decided what you have decided.

You are free to choose, but the choices you make today will determine what you have, be, and do in the tomorrow of your life.— Zig Ziglar

You are the air traffic controller of your mental airport.— Max Lucado

In the end, we are our choices.— Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon
