LORD, MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT OF YOUR PEACE:

WHERE THERE IS HATRED., LET ME SOW LOVE.

WHERE THERE IS INJURY, PARDON.

WHERE THERE IS DOUBT, FAITH.

WHERE THERE IS DESPAIR, HOPE.

WHERE IS DARKNESS, LIGHT.

WHERE IS SADNESS, JOY.

O DIVINE MASTER, GRANT THAT I MAY NOT SO MUCH SEEK

TO BE CONSOLED AS TO CONSOLE,

TO BE UNDERSTOOD AS TO UNDERSTAND,

TO BE LOVED AS TO LOVE.

FOR IT IS IN GIVING THAT WE RECEIVE,

IT IS IN PARDONING THAT WE ARE PARDONED,

AND IT IS IN DYING THE WE ARE BORN TO ETERNAL LIFE.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A DREAMER. THIS BOOK IS ABOUT STUFF I DREAM AND MUTTER ABOUT. ALL KINDS OF STUFF. YOU MIGHT THINK I’M NUTS. MAYBE I AM. MY DAD USED TO SAY TO ME. ‘WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT US IS NONE OF OUR BUSINESS.’

I THOUGHT HE WAS SO SMART. I TOLD HIM SO. HE HUMBLY AND HONESTLY SAID TO ME, HE HEARD THIS FROM SOMEONE ELSE. HE COULDN’T REMEMBER WHO. SO, HE COULD NOT TAKE CREDIT FOR IT. I WAS DISAPPOINTED. BUT TO ME HE WAS STILL THE SMARTEST MAN IN THE WORLD.

MY MOM MADE IT A POINT TO OPEN AND CLOSE WHATEVER SHE WAS DOING WITJ A PULE (PRAYER). THUS, I OPEN AND CLOSE THIS MUTTERING BOOK WITH A PULE (POOLAY). I HOPE MY MUTTERINGS WILL INSPIRE YOU TO TAKE SOME TIME TO WRITE AND SHARE YOUR MUTTERINGS WITH US.
