48882.pngINTRODUCTION
This book is a tool to assist you in understanding the benefits of living a better life each and every day. Allow these sayings to encourage you and direct your thinking, your words, your actions, your habits, and your life. Who and what we are is very important to the world around us and as individuals and to one another.
Daily open your heart to new ways of creating a more peaceful, loving, and satisfying mental attitude and life. Allow new thoughts to guide you away from the worries and concerns of the day.
Allow these statements to stir within you a desire to keep free from bad, ugly, and negative thinking that is draining you of your energy and keeping your mind entangled. Meditate on a couple of these fragments each day to improve your day.
You can start anywhere you wish in the book—even in the middle of a page. You may jump around, allowing the book to fall open wherever it may, or just open the book wherever you wish at the time you want to read. Treat this book as if it has no beginning or ending. You will notice I have rephrased numerous thoughts throughout this book. Repetition is the key to remembering.
Use your gift and share the goodness you have within you by being encouraging and supportive to all people. My desire is to equip you with reminders of how to live and be a servant of God, our King. He is the Ruler over all things.
If you are not currently reading the Bible, let this book be a starting point to shed some light on the Scriptures for you. If you are reading the Bible, let the statements be quick reminders to increase your self-esteem and your faith as you listen to these truths.
Let these statements inspire you to build a firmer foundation, and to experience a more secure and peaceful life. Our mission is to love one another as Christ loves us, and to stay centered on the way Jesus, the teacher, taught.
We exist to serve our Lord and to live as one church with many bodies (1 Corinthians 12:12), to strengthen an ever-growing community of faith, and to love others as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:39).

It goes without saying that a project such as this is never completed in a vacuum.
First, this book is dedicated to my grandchildren: Sarah Boggs, Deacon Bletchley-Boggs, and Dakotah Tanczuk, who were my inspiration for the book.
Second, I want to thank God for nudging me to have it published. Now, my prayer is that this book will get into the hands of people who either don’t read the Bible or have little or no biblical knowledge or who need to be encouraged to live a better life. May they experience a desire to read God’s Word - The Bible - often.
From beginning to end, I have had the support of WestBow Press-Publishers who were instrumental in allowing me to see the culmination of a dream I had. WestBow Press was extremely helpful in numerous ways, and I am very thankful to them for their professionalism.
I also want to thank WestBow Press-Publishers for providing video materials and lectures from experienced authors regarding their process of writing, marketing, and publishing a book. These materials were extremely helpful with many great tips. Thanks to the authors who shared their knowledge with those of us who have dreamed of becoming an author.
I want to thank Denny Irion, a neighbor, who also gave his time to proofread my manuscript.
I want to thank a life-long friend who read my manuscript and helped me by making suggestions which were invaluable. Thank you, Esther Schrage, for encouraging me along the way with your support.
48882.pngRELATIONSHIPS
Just as salt makes a difference in the flavor of food, we need to make a difference in the flavor of the world around us, in a good way.
The most tragic thing is a broken relationship with God. The second is a broken relationship with your spouse and children, and the third is a broken relationship with your father and mother.
Before marrying decide against divorce from the start and build your marriage on mutual commitment. Support each other’s interests and talk every day, sharing yourself and your thoughts. Come to an agreement before taking any action. Always communicate about everything – all subjects.
Daily communication needs to be a high priority—a top priority in your marriage. No subjects are off limits. That’s right, nothing is off limits (except gifts for birthdays, gifts for anniversaries, and surprise gifts for your spouse).
(Contact me through my website if you want a Communication Tool to assist you in talking about all subjects with success.)
In your marriage and in all your other relationships, truth, and trust should be high priorities as well as your daily communication.
Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, ... Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man
(Colossians 4:5-6 NIV).
Put God in the center of your life and marriage; allow Him to rule in your life and marriage.
Don’t let the obstacles of relational differences cause you to
